The US Vice President Kamara Harris has come out to openly demand for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. She insisted the Gaza people are suffering with little access to humanitarian aid which she termed as “inhumane”
While in Alabama at the 59th Bloody Sunday anniversary, the US official strongly demanded that there should be a ceasefire and clarified that the Israeli government has to allow the flow of aid in the region.
Harris cited the death of of Palestinians in Israeli gunfire. She went further to express sorrow for the devastating condition in Gaza based on reports of families eating leaves or animal feed, woman giving birth to malnourished babies with little medical care and the death of children from malnutrition and dehydration.

This expresses the US great need to address the conflict and its advocacy for release of hostages and a ceasefire. She emphasized the US president’s call for a six week ceasefire to increase humanitarian aid penetration into Gaza .
With cheers from the public ,Harris expressed that much suffering was happening in Gaza and the six week ceasefire proposal on the table might be the immediate temporary solution to the situation. She called upon the Hamas to agree to the proposal deal for a ceasefire to provide relief for people.
